The protagonist, who refers to herself as 'Mrs. Wolf,' was once a brave hunter reigning in the wild forest. However, due to marriage and motherhood, she finds herself confined to the house, like a caged beast in a zoo, gradually forgetting her wild nature.

Every day, while doing household chores, Mrs. Wolf searches and wanders in search of something she lost. What could it be that she has lost? Can she find it and return to the lush, wild forest once again?
This book tells the story of a protagonist who experienced a career hiatus due to marriage and motherhood while trying to regain her self-esteem. The author constantly questioned what her true self was while creating this story. As such, the book is expected to provide comfort and courage to all the 'Mrs. Wolves' out there, women who have experienced career disruptions and are losing their self-esteem in various situations.
Even after giving birth, my work pattern didn't change.
Working late into the night, my baby often woke up.
Many days, I carried the child and sat in front of the desk to finish my tasks.
Since then, whenever I read picture books about mothers, I felt uncomfortable.
Especially, the gaze of a "sacrificing mother" stood out within the various meanings of the word "mother."
It took me a long time to embrace the identity of a mother, and I wanted to run away somehow.
The work I started continued until my child turned 7 years old.
Though my heart wanted to hold on a little longer, I wondered if holding on would make things better...
Through various versions and revisions, I met Mrs. Wolf.
After that encounter, Mrs. Wolf fearlessly roamed my world.
And she sought her own escape route.
In the early stages of my work, I hesitated constantly. Is this alright? Is it really okay?
Then, one day last year, I had a dream in which an arrow was shot into my left chest.
The memory is still vivid—the sensation of warmth in my chest.
The dream revealed that my whole body could be set ablaze like this.
After that, I was able to find solutions and progress through the latter part of the work.
This work progressed with the help of dreams, each bend and turn.
In this world, countless individuals bear the name of a mother.
Some, like me, struggle with the weight of motherhood.
They may live stifled by societal standards.
I wanted to tell them that it's okay to briefly set down that heavy burden,
And that we should sometimes run freely in our own forest.
May we meet one day as you bound freely towards the vast forest.

The wolf shared its story, and I hugged it tightly.
It took a long time to turn the wolf's story into a book.
To the wolf who came to me that day,
